McDonalds published the mobile game “Slope Stars”, which is about safety on the slopes, and supplied the VR glasses with a good recycling conscience. Foresta Lumina Real instead of virtual. Even if Storyliving and Virtual Reality make a good team, Storyliving also works without VR glasses. A good example is the multisensory installation in the Canadian Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook. The aim of the installation was to get more people interested in visiting the forest. Although the story can only be experienced directly on site in analog form, the project can be made accessible to a wider public with digital content, such as the following video.
How To – how to implement Storyliving? Multisensory installations or professionally Special Data produced 360-degree videos – of course everything looks great, but it also comes at a price. Another story-living setback: Are AR and VR really being used or are we still unable to get out of the “media professionals-think it’s great, consumers-don’t-want-it” phase? So is Storyliving just a hyped concept that isn't easy to implement? Yes and no. Storyliving is a reaction to the changing demands of consumers, especially younger ones. However, it is questionable whether virtual reality and augmented reality will remain the appropriate forms of implementation. But what cannot be denied is that experiencing it is becoming more important. Whether VR productions or non-virtual activities, Storyliving can be implemented on a large and small scale.

Woman with question marks It all sounds crazy, but how do you do story living? Include target group When it comes to story living, the focus is on experiencing a story. With consumer goods, it is usually easier to find out what the target group needs. Experiences, on the other hand, are very personal. Where it is enough to create a brand story with classic storytelling that can stand on its own and be passively consumed by the target group, the consumers become even more of a focus with story living. Before any Storyliving project, you should first address your target group and follow up with them, for example via social media surveys or similar.
